What changed in the game, newest first.

Fixes from a look over the game

October 06, 2026 · 07:18

A round of fixes across duels, crafting and the page.

Duels

  • The winner of a duel is paid even if they press Stop in the moment between the two fights ending
  • A challenge that is withdrawn, declined or runs out always hands the stake back
  • In a duel the bottle count in the bar and the bag counts only your own drinks

Combat

  • A fight that reaches the round limit says that time ran out, not that nobody landed a wound
  • The fight log stays where you scrolled it, even when the fight follows a gather or a craft
  • A bottle stays in the bag until the log pours it, even if one was already poured when the page was drawn

Crafting

  • If the recipe for a running craft, enchant or break leaves the world, what it took is handed back when its time is up, not only when you press Stop
  • Fifteen five-unit weapons, rungs six to ten, take 23 seconds to make instead of 22, like every other recipe

The page

  • When an effect runs out, the bar and your stats show it at once
  • An open challenge or enchant stays on the player or item you opened it for when the room changes
  • Countdowns keep time with the server even if your device's clock is a few seconds out
  • A task that finishes while you are moving between pages still shows as finished
  • Reading the reference, the leaderboards or your account page no longer puts you in the room
  • Messages and new chat lines are read out by screen readers

Reference

  • The contract boards' level ranges count only the places a contract can send you

Health comes back between fights

October 06, 2026 · 05:52

Health and mending elixirs now work through a queue of fights.

Combat

  • Health now comes back over the time each fight takes, even with more fights queued behind it. Before, nothing came back until the queue was empty
  • A mending elixir now heals through a queue of fights, as it always said it would
  • Fleeing keeps the health that came back while you were fighting

Account

  • Changing your email address keeps the old one in use until you confirm the new one, signed in, from the link sent to it
  • Your old address is told when a change is asked for, and again when it goes through

Auction house and mail

  • A trade or a letter shows up at once, without a click, if you are looking at the game when it arrives
  • All in the sell box always fills in what you are carrying, even after the page has changed under it

Fixes

  • Stopping a craft or an enchant gives back exactly what it took, even if the recipe has changed since
  • A task whose target has gone from the world no longer stops pages from loading
  • Muting somebody still hides their letters and chat after they retire the character
  • The Carrying, Worn, Skills and Ledger tabs can be reached with the arrow keys

The auction house matches buyers and sellers

October 05, 2026 · 14:29

The auction house now works like an exchange: offer to buy or sell, and it matches you with the other side.

Auction house

  • Offer to buy or to sell anything, and the house trades it for you with whoever offered the other side, now or later, even while you are away
  • A trade happens at the price of the offer that was there first, and if you offered to pay more you get the difference back
  • Type an item's name, or tap it in the market or your bag, to see what it trades for, how much is for sale now and how much is wanted
  • Buttons set how many and the price, and the button you press says exactly what will happen before you press it. Selling far under the usual price asks first
  • The market shows one line for each item: the cheapest it is for sale and the most anybody will pay
  • Your offers show how far each has got, and you can abort one to get back what it still holds
  • You can have up to 8 offers open, buying and selling together
  • What your offers bought or sold while you were away waits at the house, and you are told when they trade. Collect it into your bag or straight into your bank
  • A market stall in the bar at the top shows when something is waiting at the house. Tap it to see what
  • Your last 20 trades are listed at the house
  • Your lots already on sale became sell offers and carry on as before

Chat

  • A line you start typing while your last one is still sending is no longer wiped when that one arrives

Reference

  • Every item's page shows a chart of what it traded for over the last 30 days, and a Trade this link that opens it at the auction house

The Ledger, and more coins from fighting at higher levels

October 04, 2026 · 20:24

The Ledger on the Character tab, more coins from higher-level monsters, and contract details you can read on a phone.

The Ledger

  • A new Ledger view on the Character tab lists everything you can find, gather, make or break down, and marks each thing the first time you get it yourself, with the day you did
  • It has a page for each boss and its pet, each crafting and gathering skill, reagents, keepsakes and everything else monsters drop
  • Pets you have already found are in it. Everything else counts from today, and nothing you buy ever counts
  • Your profile shows how much of your Ledger you have filled

Coins

  • Monsters pay more coins the higher their level: a little more in the middle levels, and about two fifths more at level 99
  • Trophies sell for more to match, and contract rewards follow the same coins

Status bar

  • Tap the contract mark at the top of the screen to see what you are hunting and how many are done. Duel challenges work the same way

Corvane the Unreleased and the Unbound weapons, for level 99

October 04, 2026 · 18:20

A new boss for level 99 below the Keep's hall, three weapons made at 99 from the sigil it drops, and fights that can last up to 150 rounds.

The Keep

  • The oubliette, a new room below the Keep's hall, for combat 99
  • Corvane the Unreleased waits in it alone, and fights melee
  • Corvane drops the Unbound sigil at 1 in 2,000, beside its own trophy and coins

Crafting

  • The Unbound maul, warbow and sceptre, worn at level 99 and made at blacksmithing, bowyery and artificing 99, with 286 accuracy and 286 damage
  • Each is made from an Unbound sigil, the level 92 weapon of its kind (the magmasteel maul, kilnhide warbow or lavasilk sceptre), 1,000 of that weapon's material and 250 grave-yew logs

Pets

  • Corvane has a pet of its own: the Rookling

Combat

  • A fight can now last up to 150 rounds, up from 100, before it ends in a draw

More xp for crafting and gathering at higher levels

October 04, 2026 · 16:07

Crafting, gathering, enchanting and alchemy pay more xp from about level 30 upward, and a craft, enchant or break in progress keeps the bag space it needs.

Skills

  • Crafting, gathering, enchanting and alchemy pay more xp from about level 30 upward, and the most at the highest levels
  • Every material from blightiron, wyrm hide, ghostflax, cinderwood and emberbloom upward is worth more xp to gather and to use, and anything made from it pays more to make and to break down
  • Murk dust, umbral essence and riven shards, and gloom dust, sundered essence and wyrd shards, are worth more xp to enchant with
  • Nothing below level 30 changes, and nothing anywhere pays less

Your bag

  • A craft, enchant or break in progress keeps the bag space it needs to finish, or to give back what it took if you stop it, and the bank, shops and auction house won't fill it

Pets, examine lines and alchemy

October 03, 2026 · 18:16

Every boss has a pet, everything has an examine line, every brew burns a log, and alchemy has a tonic at 72 and at 99.

Pets

  • Every boss has a pet, found on about one kill in three thousand
  • A pet is kept on your profile rather than in your bag, and can be found again. Every find is told in the world chat
  • Your profile shows the pets you have found, how many times, and the day of the first
  • Every pet has its own page in the reference, with what drops it and how often

Examine lines

  • Every monster, item and pet has a line of its own under its name in the reference, and every monster has its line on the Here tab too

Alchemy

  • Every potion and elixir now burns a log as fuel, of its herb's own tier
  • A moatwort tonic at alchemy 72, healing 435, brewed from moatwort and siege timber
  • A wakerue tonic at alchemy 99, healing 600, brewed from wakerue and a grave-yew log
  • The siegebloom tonic now heals 490 and the fumewort tonic 545, and their workbench fees rise to 532 and 718 coins
  • Five tonics open earlier: gravebloom at 42, mournbell 52, cryptbloom 62, siegebloom 82 and fumewort 92
  • Five elixirs open earlier: lesser mending at 34, greater vitality 44, greater mending 54, superior vitality 64 and superior mending 74
  • The superior mending elixir takes moatwort in place of siegebloom
  • A potion takes 18 seconds to brew and an elixir 63, and the log it burns adds to the xp it pays
  • Brews already in your queue that you have no log for will be skipped

Farming

  • Moatwort grows on the fallen bank in Rotwater, at farming 72
  • Wakerue grows among the strewn rushes in the Keep's hall, at farming 99

Woodcutting

  • A grave-yew grows in the Keep's spire, at woodcutting 99

Seasonal events, and Hallowe'en

October 02, 2026 · 20:51

Holidays now come round by themselves every year, starting with Hallowe'en from 17 to 31 October.

Events

  • Holidays now come round on the same dates every year. While one is on, a fight won or a node worked can turn up its keepsake
  • The chance grows with how long the task took, so the quickest kill is no better a source than any other. Nothing is found at a bench
  • While an event is on, the Here tab says so
  • The reference has a Seasonal events page with each event's dates and how often it turns up its keepsake

Hallowe'en

  • From 17 to 31 October every year, carved turnips turn up while you fight or work, about one an hour
  • A carved turnip is a keepsake: nothing uses it, selling all your vendor trash leaves it alone, and it is the same every year

Boss records, and what a level opens

October 02, 2026 · 15:26

Profiles now keep a record of how each boss was fought, and a level gained says what it opened.

Bosses

  • A profile shows, under each boss, the longest run of kills against it and the fewest rounds a kill has taken. Records start today
  • A run is kills in a row against one boss. It ends at a loss, a flight, setting out on a walk, or more than two minutes between one kill and the next fight
  • A boss is marked as one among a profile's kills and on the leaderboards, as it is in the reference

Levels

  • A level gained says what it opened: places and gear for combat, recipes for a trade or alchemy, nodes for gathering, and enchants and what you can break for enchanting

A chat tab on phones, and a Find box in the reference

October 01, 2026 · 10:26

On a phone, the world chat is now a tab of its own, and the reference has a Find box.

Chat

  • On a phone, the world chat is a tab beside Here, Character and Travel, in place of the bottom of the page
  • The chat fills the screen under the status bar, so your task stays in view while you talk
  • The Chat tab lights up and shows how many lines other players have said since you last looked
  • A new line from another player glows briefly as it arrives
  • Lines from other players no longer leave a blank line under themselves

Tabs

  • Travel and Chat no longer have an empty strip under the tab

Finding things

  • The reference and its make, gather and enchant pages have a Find box
  • What you type in a Find box is kept while you walk to another page and back, until you close the app
  • Each crafting station has its own Find box
  • Find boxes have a button to clear them

Vendor and bank

  • A stack has Sell one and Sell all at the vendor, Store one and Store all from your bag, and Take one and Take all from the vault, as the queue has Remove one and Remove all. One of something has Sell, Store or Take
  • Sell all, Store all and Take all move the whole stack, however big
  • The vendor shows what is enchanted on a piece you could sell
  • Item names at the vendor and the auction house open their page in the reference
  • The bank says Stored and Took, as its buttons do

Combat level

  • Gear, monsters, the map, the arena and the reference say combat rather than level, as the status bar does
  • A door on the map shows the combat it needs only when you do not have it
